Wanda Lucille Sheridan

Wanda Lucille Sheridan was born July 27, 1930, in New Boston, Texas to the late Cleve Whittle and Dora Vaughan. Mrs. Sheridan passed away peacefully on October 19, 2021, in Marble Falls, Texas. She was a devout Christian and longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Gladewater, Texas. Mrs. Sheridan was a nurse earlier in life but chose to leave the profession to have more time with her family. She then pursued a career as a bank teller where she retired from in 1996. Mrs. Sheridan loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. If you knew her well, you probably had an iris named after you as she took pride in her flowers and gardens. She is survived by her daughter, Dorinda Mitchell; daughter-in-love, Marsha Sheridan; sister, Bertha Merriman; grandchildren, Justin Ross Mitchell and wife Kacy, Laura Willett and husband Nick, Krista Hauser, Lindsey Yeager and husband Jarrod, Travis Sheridan and wife Mollie, Jeremy Molina and wife Alisha, Joshua Stoltje and wife Karrigan; 12 great-grandchildren and one on the way, Luke Yeager, Bobbie Grace Molina, Skye Nicole Stoltje, Cambrie Willett, Wyatt Creamer, Jake Yeager, Coulter Mitchell, Truett and Tenley Sheridan, Case Willett, Clancy Mitchell, Riggs Molina, as well as many other loving family and friends. Mrs. Sheridan is preceded in death by her parents and other siblings, her loving husband, Harold, of 67 years, daughter, Regina Whisenant, and son, Glen Sheridan. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Croley Funeral Home of Gladewater, visitation will begin one hour prior at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Gladewater Memorial Park.
