Willie Clyde Davis

Services for Mrs. Willie Clyde Davis, 88, of Big Sandy will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 21, 2012, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Larry W. Osborne officiating and burial to follow at Chilton Cemetery in Big Sandy. Willie was born on June 15, 1924, in Big Sandy, Texas, to Clyde and Fannie Davis Roberts and she passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012, in Longview. On July 1, 1950, she married James Clifton Davis in Pritchett. Mrs. Davis was a beautician and a Methodist. She is survived by her sons, Wesley Don Faulk and Thomas C. Davis of Big Sandy; daughter, Barbara Lee Davis and husband, Kianoosh Karamzadeh of Spangdahlem, Germany; three granddaughters, Priscilla, Jasmine and Chloe Karamzadeh of Spangdahlem, Germany; sisters, Mary Nell Dunnavant of Big Sandy and Peggy LaForce of Big Sandy; Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by daughter, Barbara Jean Faulk; husband, James Clifton Davis; brother, James Earl "Jinx" Roberts and sister, Adaline Howard. Visitation will be on Friday December 21, 2012 from 12:00 P.M.-2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family wishes to express their appreciation for the loving care given by the staff of The Clairmont and Heart to Heart Hospice of East Texas.
