Funeral services for A.D. Henson, of Gilmer will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Bro. Holland Atchley officiating. Mr. Henson passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013 at a Gilmer hospital. Mr. Henson was born February 15, 1934 in Upshur County to A.D. and Agnes Dora Cox Henson Sr. He was a retired Supervisor for Lone Star Steel after 29 years, worked at Lowe�s for 15 years, a farmer and rancher and member of the New Way Country Church. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Henson of Gilmer; son and daughter-in-law, Phillip Don and Frances Henson of Gilmer; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and David Hamblin of Gilmer; six grandchildren, Ben Henson, Dan Henson, Jody Tidwell, James Tidwell, Adam Hamblin and Anna Reyes; four great-grandchildren, Westyn Henson, Viviana Henson, Isaac Hamblin and Declan Reyes. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 12, 2013 at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
