Alan Fannin, 71, passed away surrounded by his family, in Tyler, Texas, on May 14, 2025.
Born on December 9, 1953, in Cisco, Texas, Alan was the son of Almus and Evadena Fannin. He graduated from Cisco High School. Alan spent over 25 years working for the Chevron Corporation, retiring in 2005. He married Pam Petty in 1973, and together they raised three boys.
Alan was a 32° Mason and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in both Cisco and Hawkins. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Hawkins. He loved playing dominoes, hunting, and taking road trips with his grandchildren.
Alan is survived by his wife of 51 years, Pam; son, Blayne, and daughter-in-law, Micki; son, Shane, and daughter-in-law, Holly, and their children, Hailey, Jack, Cole, and Ashtyn; son, Bryce, and daughter-in-law, Renee, and their children, Harper, Walker, and Braden; brother-in-law, Grady Petty, and wife, Sandra; and sister-in-law, Rita Dell Statham.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held Sunday, May 18, from 3:00-5:00 p.m., at Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins, Texas, and a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Croley Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Masonic Lodge of Cisco or the First Baptist Church Youth Ministry.
