Aleene M. Mings

Graveside services for Mrs. Aleene M. Mings, 96, of Gilmer will be held 2:00 P.M, Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Enon Cemetery with Reverend Don Ross officiating. Mrs. Mings was born on August 13, 1915, in Gilmer, Texas to William Wallace and R"della Odom Grider and passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2012 in Longview. She was a homemaker and a member of Enon Baptist Church. Mrs. Mings is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Della and Jones Lewis of Longview; grandchildren, Scott and Amber Lewis, Kristi and Jason Hunt; great grandchildren; Jack and Lauren Hunt and Audry Grace Lewis; niece, Marguerite Adams of Gilmer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Mings; brothers, Raymond Grider and Gordie Grider. The family requests donations to be made to a charity of your choice.
