Alice Faye Williams

Alice Faye Williams was born November 2nd, 1939 in Yorktown, Texas, to Claude E. Phillips and Floye Oneda Misenheimer. She was preceded in death by her son Burlie E. Glover, Jr., stepsons James R. Williams and Paul D. Williams, and siblings Ann, Mary, Linda, Bill, and Pat. She remained close with her brother and sisters throughout her life.

Alice is survived by her children, Terri Richter, Tracy Strubhart, Billy Williams, and Teri Lynn Williams, and by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Alice loved travelling, camping, jet-skiing, playing bingo, drinking endless cups of black coffee, and–most of all–spending time with her family. She was generous, kind, stubborn, and the most wonderful mother and grandma anyone could ever wish for. We love her so much, and though we will miss her every day, we cherish every moment we spent with her.

Please join Alice’s family as we celebrate her life on Saturday, November 8th, at 3PM for a graveside service in Gladewater Memorial Park.
