Alma Oleen Duncan

Alma Duncan, 94, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Monday, January 1, 2018. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Married to Bud Duncan for 66 years before his death in 2005, they had two sons. During their life, they lived in Texas and finally settled in Plano, Texas, in 1968. They moved to Norman, Oklahoma in 2004. Alma is survived by her oldest son, Harold Duncan and his wife Cindy of Fairfield, Texas; John Duncan and his wife Marjorie of Norman, Oklahoma; grandchildren Melisa Duncan Cannon and Harold Duncan or Fairfield, Texas; great-grandchildren Ashley Cannon, Tad Cannon, Dustin Duncan, and Riley Duncan; and several great-great-grandchildren. Alma Duncan loved her family and enjoyed a long and meaningful life. She liked to play bridge and go shopping. The memories of her that her family and friends carry in their hearts will continue to provide comfort, love, understanding, and courage to each one during the struggles of life, until all will be reunited in eternal love of God. Funeral Services will be on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Croley Funeral Home, 401 N. Center St., Gladewater, TX with interment to follow at Union Grove Cemetery.
