Graveside services for Amy Lea Fox-Jackson will begin at 2PM Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Center Cemetery in Harleton, Texas.
Born November 3, 1974 at 2:49 p.m., she passed away in Austin, Texas on August 19, 2025.
Amy is survived by her husband of 22 years, Jason Fox-Jackson, and her parents, Harvey and Martha Fox of Harleton, Texas.
As a bright precious child, Amy attended Allandale Christian School in Austin. While there, the family attended Allandale Baptist Church, where she made her profession of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. After moving with her family to Harleton, she attended Longview Public Schools. While a student at Judson Middle School she won the "Top Gun" award for academic excellence. She was also very creative and won several awards for her art. Her last two years of high school were spent at the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science at the University of North Texas where she was honored as a National Merit Scholar.
Amy was then awarded a scholarship to the University of Texas at Austin where she completed her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees.
For several years, Amy worked for the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (now Health and Human Services Commission) where , because of her very compassionate spirit, she was able to improve the quality of life for many nursing home residents throughout the state.
The family is grateful for your attendance to honor Amy's memory.
