Arnold Nolan was born on September 30, 1944, in Farmerville, Louisiana and passed away on January 23, 2026, in Tyler, Texas, at the age of 81.
Arnold served his country in the US Army National Guard, a commitment that showcased his character and sense of duty. After his military service, he became a respected truck driver for Green Oil Company, where he spent many years transporting goods and connecting communities through his work before his retirement.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda Nolan; son, Michael Wayne Arnold; daughter, Karen Nicole Odom; stepchildren, Steven Wilhelm, Shonna Peralta, John Hammond and Melisa Green; brother, Don Nolan and wife Cathy; along with eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas Eugene Nolan and Zelma Aulds Nolan; siblings, Dorothy Lee and husband John, Joseph Douglas Nolan and wife Shelby, Oneida Watson and husband Herman, Nell Ray and husband Bill; grandson, Seth Odom.
A visitation will be held in Arnold's memory on February 2, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins, Texas, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
