Funeral services for Ashley Danae Kennedy will be Saturday, September 26, at 2:00P.M. at the First Assembly of God Church in Hawkins with burial to follow in the Hawkins City Cemetery.

Ashley Kennedy, 40, of Hawkins, Texas, passed away on September 19, 2026, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She was born July 15, 1986, in Smith County, Texas Wendy Kennedy.

She is survived by her grandparents, William and Charlotte Kennedy, parents, Lee and Wendy Shankman, daughter, Isabela Danae Kennedy, brothers, Justin Shankman and wife Jessie, Holden Shamburger and wife Lisa; sisters, Danyelle Shankman and Nicole Cravey and husband Scott, adopted brother, Brice Randolph; nephews and niece, Ryder Cravey, Gabriel Shankman, Nathan Green, and Lacie Crafton, aunt, Stacy Kirksey and husband Scott and cousin, Meguell Suell and wife Brittanny and their children.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the many who have expressed condolences and support during this bittersweet chapter where Ashley goes to Heaven. Ashley's legacy will live on in the lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
