Services for Mr. Banky Stocks 88, of Gilmer will be held 2:00 P. M. ,Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Reverend Marion Palmer officiating. The family will receive friends at 1:00 P.M on Wednesday at the funeral home. Banky passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013 in Gilmer. Graveside Services will be 11:30 A. M., Thursday, December 19, 2013 at DFW National Cemetery. He was born on January 12, 1925, in San Angelo, Texas to Aubrey Banks and Lois Elizabeth Drake Stocks. He served in the Army Air Corps, was a rancher and a member of First Baptist Church. Mr. Stocks is survived by his wife, Louise "Weezie" Stocks of Gilmer; sons and daughters-in-law, Jody and Karen Ann Stocks of Glen Rose, Dr. Russell and Jackie Lou Stocks of Gilmer, Sister, Joan Nobles of Brownwood; 4 grandchildren, Sandra Gish, Laura LeBlanc, Kristin Wilson and Chelsi Ross; 14 great grandchildren.
