DIANA �Memorial services for Brenda June Shaffer, 63, of Ore City will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Camp Joy Church of God in Ore City, with Reverend Brian Peck officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. She passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 in Longview. Brenda was born April 29, 1949 in Casa Grande, AZ to Wiley �Toke� and Betty Jo Whisenhunt. She married Jimmy Franklin Shaffer, Sr. in Arizona on Sept 7th, 1963. They moved to Texas in 1978. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of God. Preceded in death by her father, Wiley �Toke� Whisenhunt on April 19, 1984. She is survived by her mother: Betty Whisenhunt, husband: Jimmy F. Shaffer, daughters & sons-in-law: Tammy & Antonio Cassio, Michelle & Dennis Kennedy & Amber & Steven Heim, sons & daughters-in-law: Jim & Lisa Shaffer, Jr. and Tim & Lisa Shaffer, brother & sister �in-law: Mike & Tammy Whisenhunt, sisters & brother �in-law: Sherry & Bobby Shaffer, Janice Belcher, Kelly Ramon & Alison Pena, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, special friend Charlotte Skiba, and dog �Baby�. No formal visitation is planned.
