Billie Blanche Covington

Loving mother and grandmother, Billie Blanche Covington, 84 of Big Sandy passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017 in Tyler. Graveside services will be held at Hoover Cemetery Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Bro. Mark Huffhines officiating and under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home.

Billie was born in Louann, Arkansas to the late James Richard Sharp and Leo Madeline Stewart Sharp and she married Willian Warren Covington on October 23, 1970. Billie was a secretary for 15 years at Firestone Tire to Rubber in Dallas and was a member of the Eastern Stars and Church of Power, she was also an oil paint artist.

Mrs. Covington is survived by her husband; William Warren Covington of Big Sandy, sons; Robert Hobbs of Big Sandy and Jay Covington and wife Becky of Yantis, daughters; Kathy Cox and husband J.C of Seagoville and Diane Akins Vehorn of Summerville, grandchildren; Kole McClenny, Jamey Cox, Amy Cowven, Jana Shell, Dillon Vehorn, Clayton Vehorn, Steven Vehorn, Shane Vehorn, Jaelyne Covington, Cynda Covington, Danielle Covington, Nathan Evans, Scott Evans, William Emmett, and numerous great grandchildren.
