Billy Douglas Horton

Billy Douglas Horton, of Holly Lake Ranch TX, was born October 10, 1946 in Mckinney TX and passed away peacefully March 12, 2023 with his family by his side.  He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Jody Horton, son James Horton and wife Wendy, daughter Wendy Brock and husband Teddy, daughter Amanda Chen and husband Eric, son Monty Horton and wife Angela, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  Billy was a dedicated Army veteran with 5 years of service and 3 tours in Vietnam. He enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, camping and skiing as well as riding his motorcycle with his club brothers. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins, 602 East Blackbourn Street.
