Bonnie Ailene McPeek

Bonnie Ailene McPeek, beloved and cherished by her family, friends, and community, peacefully passed away on June, 3 2024, in Gilmer, Texas. Bonnie was born on February 23, 1928, in Munday, Texas, to Lee and Bessie Hollis. Bonnie led a life filled with love, kindness, and dedication. 

Throughout her career at Marshall's Department Store and Bonnie’s Florist, Bonnie touched the lives of many with her warm smile and exceptional customer service. Her commitment to excellence was unmatched as she poured her heart into everything she did. 

Outside of work, Bonnie found solace and joy in being a member of First Baptist Church in Gilmer. Her faith was a guiding light that illuminated the paths of those around her. Bonnie's presence brought comfort and peace to all who knew her. 

Her memory will forever be cherished by her surviving family members: daughter, Elaine Stewart and husband Steve; 2 grandchildren, Abby Stewart and Rachel Stewart, along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Mark, and husband, Max McPeek.

The services to honor and remember Bonnie Ailene McPeek will be held on June 6, 2024, at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, Texas at 11:00 AM with Rev Mike Kessler officiating. Interment to follow at Enon Cemetery.
