Boyd Gage was born on June 27, 1931, and passed away on October 27, 2026, at the age of 95.

He served in the Marines, a chapter of his life that reflected commitment and discipline and remained an enduring part of the man he was

Boyd found happiness in the outdoors, especially fishing at Lake Fork. He also treasured spending time with family and friends, and those moments of togetherness were an important part of his life. Among his interests, he raised quail, a pastime that spoke to his appreciation for nature and the quiet rewards of caring for it.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Anita Davis and husband Scott and Brenda Patrick; brothers, Wilbur Gage, Leo Gage and Ronny Gage; along with six grandchildren and extended great grandchildren.

Boyd was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Gage, Sr. and Anna Vera Sharp Gage; wife, Patsy Gage and daughter, Yoby Perry.

A graveside service will be held on November 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Gladewater Memorial Park.
