With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Brandon Wayne Jones who tragically lost his life on June 1, 2025, at the age of 43. Brandon was born on October 4, 1981, in Longview, Texas to Johnny Wayne Jones and Cheryl Lynn Apperson.
Brandon spent his youth forging a path in construction, a trade he embraced from an early age, demonstrating his strong work ethic and dedication.
He was known for his great sense of humor and his big heart. He had a knack for making people smile and would always go the extra mile for family, friends, and even those he had just met. His warmth and generosity were evident in every aspect of his life, particularly in his volunteer efforts with several disaster relief organizations in Joplin, Missouri, where he spent much of his young adult life. Brandon’s commitment to helping others during times of need stands as one of his proudest accomplishments.
Brandon was just beginning to explore the fullness of life, cherishing moments that would pave the way for lasting memories with his loved ones.
In his past time, he could often be found fishing or surrounded by his friends at the lake.
