Services for Carla Alejandra Mejia, 3, of Gladewater will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater. Carla passed away Monday, December 25, 2017, in Dallas. The family will receive friends Tuesday Evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home.

Carla passed away December 25, 2017 in Dallas after a courageous and arduous battle.
Carla was born to Jose Alberto and Kayla Naomi Mejia, September 11, 2014 in Longview, Texas. Carla will be forever remembered as a fighter, but most of all a sweet and loving daughter, sister, granddaughter and great granddaughter. She will always live on in the hearts and memories of all the family she leaves behind.

She is survived by her parents Jose and Kayla Mejia; Sister Mireya Naomi Mejia; Brothers Jose Alberto, Cruz Angel, Elias Emmanuel Mejia and Ivan Nino; Grandparents Patricio and Wendy Aguillon, Dewayne and Julia Irvin; Great Grandmother Barbara Resendez; Aunts and Uncles Dewayne Irvin Jr., Maricella Tello, Michael Irvin, Daniel Irvin, Luis Aguillon, Jesus Aguillon, Ashley Aguillon, Juan Mejia, Elizabeth Mejia, Efren Contreras and Monica Contreras; Nurses Michelle Harp, Marsha Lewis, Kayla Lenel Scott, Roatess Rene Reeves and Sha-Risa Jackson.

Carla is preceded in death by Grandfather Juan Francisco Mejia and Uncle Carlos Mejia.
