Carroll Allen Rosenberger

Carroll Allen Rosenberger age 94 of Big Sandy passed away on June 7th, 2023, of natural causes.

Carroll, or as known to some Rosie or Sonny was born on May 29th, 1929 to Symon and Julia Rosenberger in Baltimore, MD.

He was in the Air Force for many years. He served in Germany from 1957 to1959. He was a communications person while serving in Japan. When he came back, he worked mostly on top secret projects for the Air Force. Some at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico and at an observatory outside of Cloudcroft NM.

In 1970 Carroll met Pauline Estel Grizzle in Cloudcroft NM. They were married November 6th in Juarez Mexico

Carroll was an avid licensed amateur ham radio operator. He also loved working on electronics.  Some equipment he worked on still used tube technology.

He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline, his parents Symon and Julia Rosenberger. His brother Lyman, sister Judy and his step daughter Carol Grizzle.

He is survived by stepdaughter Karen Willingham and her husband Raymond. Stepson Kevin Grizzle. And 5 step grandsons. Paul Pierce, Chris Willingham, Armond Willingham, Ryan McGruder and Micheal McGruder and one step granddaughter Audra McKinly.
