Cary “Bill” William Hennen was born on November 26, 1936, in Fort Woth, TX to William Claude and Ruby Hennen. His childhood was spent in Godley, TX where he attended and graduated from high school.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Lana and his son Joe.
He is survived by his daughter Karen Hennen, and bonus daughters Rachel Mills and Misty Jones; his son John Hennen and wife Cara. His grandsons, Damon Hennen and his wife Haley and Dalton Hennen.
He had 3 great grand-daughters, Olivia, Nora and Serenity.
He retired from the City of Fort Worth as a decorated Detective in 1989 and American Airlines in 1995. He was a musician and played with local as well as national bands. He was shiner, a volunteer and an entertainer.
He and Lana loved to travel and decorate their home. They moved to East Texas in 1993. He and Lana retired early to enjoy life which they did every single day. He never met a stranger and was loved by so many. He had a joke for anyone he met.
Visitation will be held Friday morning at 10:00 AM and services at 11:00 at Harleton Methodist Church. Interment will be at Center Cemetery.
