Charles Ervin Doigg

Memorial services for Mr. Charles Ervin Doigg, 75 of Dallas will be held 2:00 P.M, Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at First United Methodist Church, Ross and Harwood, Dallas with Reverend Jay Cole officiating. Mr. Doigg passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2010, in Dallas. He was born August 12, 1935, in Dallas to Washington Ervin and Mary Catherine Mitchell Doigg. Mr. Doigg worked as a pharmacist for 52 years before his retirement. He and his father owned Doigg RX-All Pharmacy, worked at 2 Page Drug Stores for 30 years, and worked as a pharmacist for Tom Thumb until his retirement. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Dallas and a member of the Class Etc. Sunday School. He is survived by his wife, June Elwell Doigg of Dallas; daughters, Kristin Srivarodom(Chris) of Dallas,and Kerri Glover(Dave) of Oak Point; son, John Moore(Diane) of Houston; his beloved grandchildren, , Maddie Herr, Jack Srivarodom, Katherine Glover, Heidi Glover and Cory Yoest and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jean and Truman Elwell of Gilmer. Mr. Doigg was preceded in death by his son, Chris Evans; daughter, Diedre Yoest; brother, Jerry Doigg and sister. Cathy Woodruff. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, Texas.
