It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Clifford Lamoine Snyder, affectionately known as Cliff, who left this world on December 24, 2025, at Medical City Alliance Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on December 7, 1957, in Houston, Cliff lived a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and generosity that touched the hearts of many.
Cliff dedicated 30 years of his life to his career as a truck driver, hauling crude oil and earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends throughout the trucking community. His professionalism and dedication were matched only by his warm and inviting personality, traits for which he will always be remembered.
A devoted husband to Eva Marie Snyder for the last 20 years, Cliff's love for her was a testament to the deep bonds they shared. Married on November 10, 2005, together they created a home filled with joy and laughter, surrounded by family and friends who felt welcomed in their midst. Cliff was also known for his nurturing role within the church community. A faithful participant in many church activities, he played an integral part in various youth groups, where his silly humor and supportive nature ensured that the younger generations felt empowered and cherished.
Known affectionately as "Gramps" and "Pops," Cliff's legacy as a devoted family man is manifest in his relationships with his beloved children, Rey A. Rendon and wife Laura, Rose M. Hernandez and husband Juan, Misty Green and husband Jeff, Brandi Carter and husband Mikey, Matthew Snyder and wife Ashley, Ysidro Duran Sr. and wife Celeste, and Amanda Lopez and husband Jesus. His love extended to 23 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, with whom he shared countless precious moments that will forever be etched in their hearts.
Cliff was cherished by his siblings, Christy Dechaume, Randy Snyder and spouse Mary, Risa Evans, and Duane Snyder. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, who will carry forward his spirit of kindness and encouragement, inspired by the values he instilled in them.
He is preceded in death by his father, George Lamoine Snyder, and his mother, Maurisa Mae Malesovas. Additionally, he is preceded by his late brother-in-law, Travis Dechaume, and fellow deceased brother-in-law, Jimmey Evans, as well as his sister-in-law, Peggy Snyder.
Cliff's memory will be honored at a memorial service on February 21, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 4715 Tenneryville Road, Longview, Texas. The loving community that Cliff helped build will gather to celebrate his life, recognizing the profound impact he had on everyone he encountered.
As we grapple with the loss of such a wonderful soul, let us remember Cliff for the kindness he showed, the love he shared, and the encouragement he offered to every person fortunate enough to know him. He embodied the spirit of compassion and generosity, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts that will never fade. Rest in peace, dear Cliff; your legacy lives on through the lives you touched and the love you instilled in others.
