Curtis Lynn Eitson, 63, of Mineola, passed away October 31, 2026, at a Dallas hospital. He was born on December 10, 1962, in Big Sandy to Jim Eitson and Rosie Yandle Eitson.

Curtis's memory will live on through those he has left behind; wife, Cathy Eitson, daughters, Amy Wages and husband Walter, Staci Paiz, and Cortni Finney, grandchildren, Dakota Finney, Dalton Wages, Kedron Brown, Bryston Brown, Braydon Brown, Katelan Sam and Elyse Paiz, great-grandchildren, Kylan Brown, Kasen Brown, Kamden Brown and Amelia Sam, brother Mark Eitson, and nieces Trisha Pair and Melissa Clark.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Rosie Eitson, sister, Edna Rogers, and nephews, Bradley Rogers and Markie Eitson.

At this time, no formal funeral service will be held. His family has chosen to honor and remember him privately, surrounded by the people who loved him most. They are grateful for the kindness, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time and respectfully ask for privacy as they grieve and celebrate his life in their own way.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins.
