Debbie Jean Hendrix

Our beloved Debbie Hendrix passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 65. Born on May 18, 1958, in Mexia, Texas, she lived a beautiful life filled with love and cherished moments.

Debbie was a devoted wife to her husband Marion for 44 wonderful years since their marriage on July 20, 1979. A dedicated homemaker, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Debbie's love for her family was evident in her passion for spending time with her kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She possessed a creative spirit, finding solace and fulfillment in crocheting. Debbie's caring nature extended even to her craft, as she crocheted blankets for all the children in her life. Her adventurous side shone through when she rode motorcycles with her husband and daughter, creating lasting memories with each journey.

One of her favorite pastimes was lounging on the porch with her dog Bubba, engaging in heartfelt conversations with her sister while the ducks gracefully played in the yard. Debbie's warm presence will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

Debbie is survived by her beloved husband, Marion Hendrix; son, Robert Dale Pikcett and girlfriend Amanda Dixon; daughter, Kelly Jo Whitehead and husband Freddie; grandsons, Cody Ray Ferguson and fiance Brooke Morgan and Buddy Ray Lynn Ferguson; granddaughter, Vidallia Lumpkins and husband Jordan; great-grandsons, Wyatt Ray Ferguson, Cason Morgan and Rowen Morgan; sisters, Rita Odom and husband Glenn as well as Betty Voss and husband Billy; great-aunt, Marie Carter; great-uncle, Ray Dabney and wife Vanna; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lorene Spears; brothers, Robert Dean Spears and Berry Lynn Spears; and sisters, Nelda Hill and Loretta Hill.

In celebration of Debbie's life, funeral services and ceremonies will be held in her honor. May we gather to pay our respects and honor the legacy of this incredible woman who touched so many hearts during her time with us. Rest in peace, Debbie Hendrix, your memory will forever be cherished.
