Graveside services for Dennis E. Reed, 60, of Gilmer, will be held 2 PM Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Dr, Bob Gray, Jr. officiating. Services are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home. Mr. Reed passed away, Thursday, March 14, in Longview. Dennis was born to Walter and Dell Reed on March 24, 1952, in Ventura, CA. He worked as a mechanic and a security officer. He attended Heartland Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Reed of Gilmer; daughters and sons-in-law: Laura and Ed Williams of White Oak, April and Tim Morey of Gilmer; sister, Betty Lynch and husband, Doyle of Chandler; and five grandchildren, Timothy and Tyler Williams, Joshua, Jonathan, and Hannah Morey. A visitation will be held Friday, March 15, from 6 to 8 PM at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
