Dorothy L. Blackmon Gladewater " Services for Dorothy L. Blackmon, 79, of Gladewater, will be held on Friday, July 8, 2011, at 10 A.M. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Gladewater Memorial Park. Born on December 30, 1931, in Shelby County, Texas, she died on July 5, 2011. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Dewayne & Myrna Blackmon of Diana and Rickie & Karen Blackmon of Gladewater; 2 daughters and son-in-law, Rhonda & John T. Murray of Gladewater and Nena Fogle of White Oak; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and sister, Dona Bozman of Gladewater. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.S. and Mary "Mama" Mills; husband, Jimmie E. Blackmon. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Thursday, July 7, 2011, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
