Douglas Wayne Puckett

Memorial services for Douglas Wayne Puckett, 57, of Gilmer will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Bro. James Winniford officiating. Mr. Puckett passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013 in Gilmer. Douglas was born on October 6, 1955, in Gilmer, Texas to James Douglas and Helen Ruth Barber Puckett. He worked as a crane operator for TNT Crane and Rigging. He is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Layne of Whitehouse, Texas; sisters, Sue Huffman and Pat Maxwell both of Gilmer; 7 grandchildren, Harrison, Hadley, Kaliska, Landon, Caleb, Conner and Chenoa Layne. Mr. Puckett was preceded in death by his parents, and son, Justin Puckett. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
