Dustin Wayne Yates

Memorial services for Dustin Wayne Yates, age 37, of Gladewater will be held on Saturday February 18, 2023 at 11am at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mr. Yates passed away on February 10, 2023 in Longview.

Dustin was born on January 16, 1986 in Dallas to Christopher Yates and Sherry Sustaire. He graduated from Mount Vernon High School and he worked for contractors supplies as a supervisor. His work buddies lovingly called him the “mom” of the office. Dustin had an infectious personality. He was a carefree, gentle loving soul, which are just a few of many ways to describe him. He was known for his big bear hugs and a gentle kiss on the cheek when he walked into the room or was leaving for the night. He had many interests including golf, card games, cornhole, and tinkering with different projects. Dustin loved being around his family and friends, with his biggest love being for wife of 11 years, KC and her kids, and their life together.

He was preceded in death by his sister; Michelle Yates, dad; Wayne Henderson, and a nephew; Kase Balestra.

Dustin is survived by his wife KC Yates, his children; Britain, Brittnee, and Boston, mother; Sherry Eddy and her husband Vernon, father; Chris Yates, sisters; Hollie Balestra, Katlyn Hasty, and Melissa Yates, brother; John Henderson, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and countless friends.
