Earnest Gordon Barrow

Graveside services for Earnest Gordon Barrow, 92, of Longview, will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at 9 A.M. at Union Grove Cemetery with Larry W. Osborne officiating with Masonic rites. Born on January 13, 1921, in DeQueen, Arkansas, he died on Tuesday, June 11, 2013. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II. He was a retired lease operator and a Baptist. He is survived by his son, Jerry Barrow of Longview; 2 daughters, Linda Newcomb of LaVernia, Texas; Virginia Ann Gaspard of Marksville, Louisiana; 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters; Bonnie Rusk of Houston; and Eunice Bowman of Corpus Christi; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. on Friday, June 14, 2013, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
