Edith Earlene Smith, 78, passed away at home on March 9, 2022 in Gladewater, Texas. She was born in Providence, Arkansas on November 16, 1943 to the late Flemon and Leila Harbort Bobbitt.

Edith graduated from Kilgore College as a Registered Nurse and was proud of the service she was able to provide as a nurse. She loved to travel and was able to see many different countries as she traveled. Edith also loved her dogs, especially her Chihuahuas that she bred and raised.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Smith; her son, Timothy Good and his wife, Dana Webb of Chalk Hill, TX; her daughters, Evelyn Morrison and her husband, James of Chalk Hill, TX and Angie Hill of Tyler, TX; her brother, Chird Bobbitt and his wife, Dyane of Searcy, AR and her grandchildren, Crystal Good, Richard Hill, Allen Morrison and Daniel Hill. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, George Bradley Good and two brothers, Stanley Bobbitt and Robert Reed.

Funeral services for Edith will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, where a visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow the services at Gladewater Memorial Park Cemetery.
