Edith Neely Rogers Wilkins

Edith Neely Rogers Wilkins, 86, of Diana, went home to her Lord on Friday, December 22, 2023. Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Croley Funeral Home in Diana, with Brothers Don Bean and Mike Brittian officiating. A private interment will be held at Ore City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service.

Edith was born November 14, 1937, in Dallas, Texas to her parents, William McDonald Neely and Winnie Lou Malone Neely. The family moved to the Diana area, and she attended and graduated from the Diana ISD. She married Charles Harrell Rogers and had a full marriage until his passing. She later married Glen D. Wilkins, who also preceded her in 2006. 
Edith was passionate about her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching football, seeing the squirrels  and humming birds along with watching the cows. She especially enjoyed Coke and collecting Coke memorabilia. Edith was very passionate in her faith. As a long time member of Morton Baptist Church, she would attend church until she couldn’t anymore and then she would have the ladies in her Sunday school class call her so she could listen to the message and she would watch the live sermon on Facebook.

Along with her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles Neely Rogers.

Edith is survived by a son, Billy Rogers and wife, Jennifer; a daughter, Becky Rogers; grandchildren, Carlie Rogers, Charlie Chavez and husband, Angel, Jessica Rogers-Babroski and spouse, Amber Rogers-Babroski; and her greatest joy was her great grandchildren, Opie and Carter.

Mrs. Edith will be truly missed by her family and friends.
