Eduardo Arias

A Mass of Christian burial for Eduardo Arias, 82, of Ore City will be 12:00 noon, Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Daingerfield, TX. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m., at Gladewater Memorial Park in Gladewater. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mr. Arias passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 in a Daingerfield nursing home.

Mr. Arias was born January 3, 1935 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Cipriano Arias and Guadalupe Ruiz. He was a farmer and had worked for 35 years for Gilbert Moore Union Brothers and was a member of the Catholic faith. He loved his family and especially his grandkids and great-grandkids and he had a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his sons, Rigoberto Estrada and wife, Lidia, Arturo Arias and Eduardo Arias, Jr.; daughter, Adelina Arias and husband, Ramon; brothers, Ernesto Arias, Jose Arias and Ruben Arias; sisters, Alicia Arias, Hermelinda Arias and Ernestina Arias; grandchildren, Jahviv Estrada, Erik Estrada, Lesly Sifford, Lorena Arias, Celeste Garcia, Ramon Arias, Jr., Norma Mattox and Adriana Estrada; 11 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife of 20 years before her passing in 1984, Ramona Estrada Arias; parents, Cipriano Arias and Guadalupe Ruiz; brother, Braulio Arias; and sister Luisa Arias.

Pallbearers will be Erik Estrada, Jahviv Estrada, Daniel Sifford, Jr., Daniel Sifford, Ramon Arias, Jr. and Joe Ortiz-Garcia.

A Rosary will be said, at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
