Elijah Alexander Auld

Elijah Alexander Auld, 20 years old from Gilmer, Tx went home to our Lord and Savior on Monday, November 6, 2023. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. Elijah's life was filled with joy and enthusiasm which he shared with everyone around him.

As he departed from this world his persona will forever leave a mark on every soul he ran into. Elijah never met a stranger and always had the right attitude for any situation, from the quirky sounds or the Tik Tok videos of random dance moves everywhere he went. He always had impeccable timing and knew how to brighten your day. He would make his rounds helping everyone with whatever they needed, or just come by and try to "stir the pot" just to make sure you knew he was around. His carefree spirit will forever be missed as we live without him in this world, but never in our hearts. He is loved deeply, and he loved others deeply as well. Elijah may not have said it, but he would make sure you knew by doing little favors or saying innuendos to let you know he cared for you.

Elijah had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He found solace in the simplicity of nature and took every opportunity to go camping, fishing, or shooting his gun. Social by nature, Elijah valued his relationships with friends and family above all else. Spending time with loved ones brought a smile to his face. Whether it was hanging out with friends, enjoying quality moments with his family members, or going to church to fellowship, he cherished those connections dearly.

He is survived by his mother, Krystal Stevens, and stepfather Joseph Stevens; his father, John Auld; his sisters Emily Auld, Erika Auld, Jazmine Stevens, and Toni Cruz; his brother Mason Collier; and stepfather Michael Horton; 3 new nephews, Cole Stevens, Sawyer Wilson, and Knox Sabedra; grandparents, Patrick and Cindy Nation; and numerous cousins. Elijah's bright spirit will continue to shine on those who loved him most. His grandmother, Tammy Mullins, will miss as she would always say to Elijah "the biggest butthead but the love of my life."

Elijah's radiant personality touched many hearts throughout his life journey. He held precious memories close to him of beloved family members who preceded him in death, including his Pawpaw, Billy Mullins; Granny, Grace Collier; Grandpa, Charles Auld; aunt, Taylor Auld; uncles Dale James and Linzey Stevens also hold a special place in his heart.

A memorial service to honor Elijah's life will be held on November 16, 2023. The service will take place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1122 Pine Street in Gilmer, Texas. The event will begin at 4:00 PM and conclude at 6:00 PM.
