Emma Jean Johnson

Services for Emma Jean Johnson, 86, of Avinger, Texas will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Grubbs-Loyd Chapel in Diana with Reverend Johnny Puryear officiating. The family will receive visitors 1 hour prior to service at 9:00AM. Mrs. Johnson passed away on July 23, 2021.

Emma was born on December 4, 1934 to Mauritz Frank and Leota Castella Hallbauer in Butterfield, MO. She managed the Johnson Creek RV Park at Lake O’ the Pines for many years.

She is survived by her granddaughter: Savanna Coleman and husband David, great-grandchildren: Tristan Gonzalez, Brynna Coleman, and Miles Coleman, nephew: David Hamilton and wife Ann and special family: Ashley and Jack Bell and Lillian and Lauren Bell.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents, husband Aubrey Johnson in 2016, and son Roger L. Smith.
