Erma Elaine McKinley McWhorter Warren

Graveside services for Erma McWhorter Warren, 90, of Big Sandy will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2014, at Shady Grove Cemetery in Upshur County with Bro. Pete Dugger officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Warren passed away Friday, November 21, 2014. Mrs. Warren was born May 28, 1924 in Forney, TX, to Bill and Carrie Mae Woodin McKinley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Shady Grove Church of Christ. She is survived by her brothers, Kenneth Beard and wife, Nelda and Don Beard and wife Merlene; sister, Shirley Arden and husband, Ron; step-daughter, Sherry Warren; grandchildren, Denise Wright, Marty Warren, Shone Whiteside and Nikki Dean; and numerous great-grandchildren. Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by both husbands, George McWhorter and Hulon Warren; her parents; son, Gary Wayne McWhorter; and step-son Don Warren. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
