Frances Irene Varner

Frances Irene Varner, lovingly known as a devoted mother, cherished sister, and beloved grandmother, passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 85. She was born on April 12, 1938 to Robert and Myrtle Roberts in Gilmer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Cay and Ricky Varner, brother, Wayne Miller, sisters, Dorothy Scott, Shirley Seahorn and Beth Miller.

Frances is survived by her sons, Gaylon Varner, Kealon Varner (Clara), daughter, Kathy McCurry, brother, Dale Roberts, sisters, Norma Jean Richardson, Nell Varner and Martha Kelly, 11 grandchildren along with 10 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. The service will take place at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park with pastor Matt Pool officiating.
