Franklin "Frank" Avon Snider

Franklin "Frank" A. Snider, 87, of Tyler, passed away in Mineola, TX on March 12, 2026.  Frank was born on Hawkins, TX to the late Lewis Manley Snider and Emma Tincy (Willbanks) Snider, where he was raised and attended school, graduating from Hawkins High School, where he was a member of the football team.

Frank retired from Kelly-Springfield Tire Company, where he worked for the majority of his career as a shipping supervisor.  His true passion was taking care of his cows on the farm and tending to them and his property.  Frank also enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing, as well as entertaining family and friends at his house, where he was known to host great fish fries. 

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons, Craig Snider and Brian and his wife, Wanda, Snider; grandchildren, Jenny Snider, Justin Snider, Kayla Wyatt, Katherine Campbell, Kevin Snider, Moriah Snider, Josiah Snider and Becky Snider; great-grandchildren, Bayden, Christa, Emma, Braxton, Nikki, Alexander, Aiden, Arianna, Lexis, Hayden, Sky, Macy, Emily, Connor, Travis, Levi and Miles; great-great grandchild, Miles; sister, Lavonia Stone; brothers, Jerry Dale Snider and Nathan Snider; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Manley and Tincy Snider; siblings, Lewis Snider, Ernest Lee Snider, Elner Young, James Grover Snider, Emma Lee Jerden, Carl Musick, Naomi Lucas and Dennis Snider.

Funeral services for Mr. Snider will be held at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Hawkins on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 2:00 pm, where a visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Interment will take place in the Smith Community Cemetery, Big Sandy, TX, with only family attending the burial services.
