Gene Everett Moore

Gene Everett Moore, 92, passed away on July 15, 2025, in Bryan, Texas. Gene was born March 29, 1933 to Charles Lloyd Moore and Mattie Kathleen Newton in Gilmer.

Gene led a life defined by dedication and service. At the age of 18, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Where he served honorably for 14 years.

After completing his service, Gene transitioned to civilian life and worked as an auto mechanic. He pursued this profession for many years.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Hopewell Cemetery in Latch, located at 8094 FM-49 with Bro. Eric Trimble officiating.

Gene is survived by his brother Mike Moore, daughter Terri Wright, son Ronnie Moore and wife Jana, stepchildren Angel Carter, James Nichols, Sharie Troquille, and Glenda Bailey and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mattie Kathleen Newton Moore and father, Lloyd Moore, brother, Bud Moore, sister, Glenda Jennings, son, Robert (Bobby) Ray Moore, and stepson, Bobby Nichols.
