Geneva Wilcox

Geneva Wilcox, 75, of Gilmer Texas passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014 in Longview, Texas. Geneva was born in Colfax, Louisiana to Talton and Bernice Chelette on November 30, 1938. She was a homemaker and served the Republican Party working the voting poles. Geneva is survived by her sons: Charles Jowers, Kenneth Jowers and wife Tina, and Hershel Jowers and wife Angela; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jean Wilcox, a brother Virgil E. Chelette and her parents. Mrs. Wilcox will have a celebration service in honor of her life on June 7, 2014 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Kilgore, Texas at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Kelly Brian officiating.
