George Albert Hillman, Jr.

Gladewater~Graveside services for George Albert Hillman, Jr., 66, will be Thursday, April 2, 2015 at White Oak Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. with Preacher Dave. Visitation will be prior to the service at the cemetery beginning at 1:00 P.M. George was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, to George Albert Hillman, Sr. and Lois Nell Hillman Conley on February 9, 1949 and was a resident of Union Grove, Texas. He attended Little Rock Central High and Letourneau University. Upon completion of his studies he worked as a maintenance supervisor for Trinity Industries, Tyler Pipe, and as a fitted welder at Letourneau. He served his country proudly as a Vietnam Veteran. Those left behind to cherish his memory are sons, Dwayne Hillman and Robert Hillman; daughter, Stacey Hillman Claytor; sisters, Danna Fason Taylor and Vicki Lynn Coates; brother, Steven Hillman; brothers- in- law, Joe Coates and Frank Taylor; 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many other loving family members. George is preceded in death by son, Michael Lynn Hillman; father, George Albert Hillman, Sr. and mother, Lois Nell Hillman Conley and brother, Richard Andrew Hillman and brother- in- law, Rudy Fason and step- father, John B. Conley.
