"Scooter" McKay, III, 35, will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012, at 10 A.M. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Brother Kenneth Ross officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Born on September 11, 1976, in Gilmer, Texas, he died on Sunday, January 15, 2012, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was self-employed. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca McKay of Gladewater; 2 daughters, Jenny McKay and Jordan McKay, both of Gladewater; father, George W. McKay, Jr. of Gladewater; mother, Helen Marie Servis of Gladewater; 1 brother, Daniel Servis of Illinois; one very special mother-in-law, Virginia Smith of Kilgore; one very special sister-in-law, Tammy Trotter of Kilgore; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
