Georgia Mae Chambers departed this world on January 31, 2026, in Tyler, Texas. She was born on September 3, 1956, in Dallas, Texas, where her passion for creativity flourished throughout her life. A spirit imbued with warmth and compassion, Georgia found joy in the delicate art of jewelry making, transforming simple materials into cherished pieces of beauty that captured the hearts of all who wore them.

Georgia was the cherished wife of James Chambers and the proud mother of Jason Chambers and Shurina Petree, whose lives she lovingly influenced with her unwavering support and nurturing spirit. She is also survived by her dear brothers, Ricky Harrison and Bubba Harrison, and her beloved sisters, Tammy Harrison and Rita Ann Reynolds, each bearing cherished memories of their time spent together. Furthermore, her legacy is carried on by multiple nieces and nephews, who will remember her as the gentle guiding light in their lives.

She was preceded in death by her devoted parents, George Elder Harrison and Rena Mae Harrison, who laid the foundation of love and kindness that Georgia would carry forth into her own family.

A visitation will be held in her honor on February 6, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Croley Funeral Home, located at 401 N Center St, Gladewater, Texas. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at Starville Cemetery in Winona, Texas, beginning at 2:00 PM, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her life.

Georgia Mae Chambers will be fondly remembered for her artistic spirit, her love for her family, and the countless lives she touched along her journey. May she rest in peace, forever embraced by the love she so freely gave.
