Gerald Rohus

Services for Gerald A. Rohus, 80, of Ore City, Texas, will be held 2:00PM Monday, September 30, 2024, at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, Texas, with Reverend Craig Evers officiating. Interment will follow at Kelsey Cemetery.

Gerald Allison Rohus was born October 2, 1943, in Edgewood, Texas, to Dwain M. and Dovie Welch Rohus. He worked for many years at LeBus manufacturing in Longview. Gerald married his loving wife, Jo Anna Mumford on November 18, 1970. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time fishing, tinkering, loved old cars, and music. His most treasured in life was his family and grandchildren.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Jo Anna Rohus; daughters, Stacy Woods and husband, David, Wendy Morris and significant other, Lon Spradlin; grandchildren, Susan Freeman and husband, Joe, Reily Reyno and wife, Madisen, Katy Morris, Allison Reyno, Will Morris and wife Jade; great grandchildren, Ava, Maddi, Mia and Karter; and his beloved dog, Muffin.

He will be truly missed by his family and friends and always remembered in the way that he lived life.
