Geraldean "Gerry" Slade Rivers

Geraldean “Gerry” Slade Rivers passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 29, 2023 in Belton, TX.  Gerry was born September 30, 1928 in Norphlet, AR to Samual and Francis Slade.

Gerry graduated from Gladewater High School, attended Texas Christian University and received an MBA from Pan American University (UTPA).

Gerry is survived by her sister, Shirley Marshall; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Brenda Rivers; three granddaughters: Melissa (Brennan) Speakes, Amanda (Darren) Riley and Jessica (Justin) Roland.  Seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Gerry will be missed by a host of friends from her church and her many social and volunteer activities.

A devoted friend to all who knew her, always extending courtesy to everyone she met.
