Glenda Lou Travis

DIANA – Memorial service for Glenda Lou Travis, 76, of Longview will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Coffeeville Cemetery in Upshur County, TX. Services are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Mrs. Travis passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017.

Mrs. Travis was born October 13, 1941 in Gilmer, TX to Elmer Scott and Flossie Jeanette Simpson. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Baptist faith.

Glenda is survived by her son: Joel Hanes, daughters: Theresa Hanes, Lisa Crow and Denise Morton, step-sons: Keith, Nick, Jerry and Scott, step-daughters: Amy, Theresa, Linda and Sue, brothers: Bobby Simpson, Rural Simpson and Jim Simpson, sisters: Billy Claire Phillips and Waneene Joines, also numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren in the Hanes and Travis family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Doyle Wayne Hanes and Bobbie Lee Travis.

No formal visitation is scheduled
