Glenda Fern Shipley, 81, of Troup, Texas passed away Sunday, November 1, 2026, at a Tyler Hospital. She was born December 15, 1944, in Gilmer to James Dolphus Robinson and Pearley Avis Sartain.

After high school, Glenda pursued a career as a beautician and stylist. She enjoyed spending her free time with family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memories are son, Michael Shane Haskins, daughters, Dawn Martin and husband Shannon, Jamie Saunders and husband Scott, grandchildren, Dylan Springer, Shandon Haskins, Trystan Haskins, Shaye Burks, and Brayden Martin, great-grandchildren, Teagan Springer, Asher Springer and Slater Burks, sister, Mavonee Kirby, nephew, Sam Robinson, and nieces Kyla McCormack, Amy Teddy, and Kari Robinson

Glenda is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, James Dale Robinson.

Graveside services for Glenda will be 1:00 PM, Monday, November 9, 2026, at the Gilmer City Cemetery with Bro Steven Oakes officiating.
