Greg Luke Austin

Memorial services for Greg Luke Austin, 52, of Gilmer will be held 6:00 P.M. Thursday, November 1, 2012, at Glenwood First Baptist Church, Upshur County, with Bro. Edward Crouch officiating. Mr. Austin was born on September 12, 1960, in Temple, Texas, to Luke Albert and Glenda Joyce Barnes Austin and passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012 in Gilmer. He lived in the Gilmer area for more than 30 years and was employed for Acuren as a radiographer. He is survived by his wife, Jessica Austin of Gilmer; father, Luke Austin, of Coppers Cove;stepmother,Charlene Austin of Coppers Cove, Texas; sons, Matthew Thompson of Gilmer, Patrick Thompson of Bossier City, La; daughter Rachel Austin of Coppers Cove; brother, Jeff Austin and wife, Molly of Austin; sister, Andye Pettyjohn and husband, Gary of Keller; six grandchildren, Ethan, Leila, Eden, Elijah, Elliot and Evan and soon to be number 7, Ezra; five nieces, Adrian, Morgan, Averi, Ella, and Sadie. Mr. Austin was preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Austin.
