Greg Carroll Weston, 88 of Big Sandy, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026, surrounded by his loving family in Tyler. He was born on May 18, 1938, in Flint, Michigan to Carroll and Ruth Weston.

Mr. Weston married Mary Nell Myrick in October of 1959, and they shared 68 years together. Greg proudly served 20 years in the United States Air Force and upon his retirement he settled in the Big Sandy/Gladewater area and worked as a purchasing agent for many years until his final retirement. He was a faithful member of the First Methodist Church of Gladewater, serving in the choir and as a Sunday school teacher.

Greg is survived by his loving wife, Mimi Weston, daughters, Gigi Williams and husband Mike of White Oak, and Teri Jackson and husband Rick of Big Sandy, grandchildren, Josh Williams, Joe Williams, Hunter Jackson and wife Ally, and Sam Jackson and girlfriend Jess Betts, great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Daisy, and Wesley Jackson, brothers, Gill Weston and Gary Weston both of Tyler, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Ruth Weston

Funeral services for Greg will be at the First Methodist Church of Gladewater, 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 22, 2026. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM at the Gladewater Memorial Park where Military honors will be conducted by the Air Force Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
