Harold Glenn Baird Sr.

Harold Glenn Baird Sr., age 68, of Gladewater passed away on July 28, 2023. Harold was born on March 11, 1955 in Gladewater to Henry Harold Baird and Dorothy (Bates) Baird.

Harold was a US Army veteran who loved working on and riding Harleys. He worked for many years as a roughneck in the oilfield followed by working at the City of Clarksville before retiring.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing and also managed a hunting lease for over 20 years. Harold had a big heart that he kept a secret from those he loved. He will be missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents; Henry “Blue” and Dorothy Baird; and three brothers, William Howard Baird, aka “Stinky”, Charles Edward Baird aka “Scooter”, and Donald Lee Baird aka “Bubba”.

Harold is survived by three sons; Glenn Baird Jr. and wife Danielle of Hull, TX, Bill Turner and wife Terran of Gladewater, and Mike Allison and wife Brooke of Overton ; ten grandchildren; Cameran Baird, Makayla Baird, Christian Baird, Laura Lehmann, Mackenzie Turner, Riley Francis, Destiny Allison, Tessa Allison, Lexi Allison, and Faith Lynn Allison; five great grandchildren, Oakland Baird, Parker Baird, Axel Bennett, Huxley Bennett, and Finley Girouard, and several nieces and nephews.
