Born on January 7, 1940, in Texarkana, Arkansas, he died on Saturday, October 24, 2015. He was a member of the Reserves and a courier. He is survived by his caregivers and friends, Sandy and George Weatherburn; one son,, Jeff McLechie; two step-daughters, Wendy Starnes and Cindy Seahorn; three grandchildren, Ashley Buchanan, Mikale Seahorn, and Colby Seahorn; and three great-grandchildren, Jayci Davis, Graci Davis, and Kynlee Buchanan.
